The Town of Snowmass Village is requesting Letters of Interest from organizations to propose innovative ideas and uses for the designated community purpose facility within Base Village in Snowmass Village, CO and outline how they would administer, manage, and operate that use to meet the Town’s goal of driving vitality in the area.

How much of the facility will be available to the tenant to use and program?

The community purpose portion the facility consists of a total of 8,701 sq. ft. on two floors and is designed to be extremely flexible to accommodate a variety of uses. Another 1,201 sq. ft. is being dedicated towards a cafe / bar area / food & beverage use. All of this square footage, a total of nearly 10,000 sq. ft., could be developed in unison or together with other partner organizations. 

When is the building expected to be completed? 

Building 6 is scheduled to be completed to a "white box" finish in November 2018. This is the earliest date a tenant could be given the ability to finish and furnish the facility to meet their programming needs. However, plans could be coordinated with the construction and incorporated into the building well before then.  


What will the rent structure be? 

The details of the lease are still to be determined, but the Town will be extremely flexible with the tenant(s) to make it work for the community.

Detailed floor plans with area dimensions will be uploaded on this webpage under "additional documents." 


The Town issued the request for submissions on Wednesday, September 20, 2017.
Submissions are due to the Town no later than 12 noon MST on Monday, October 30, 2017.
