The Aspen Skiing Company recently announced that Snowmass will be open daily for the season on Saturday, November 23, five days before the scheduled opening thanks to early season snow and cold temperatures. In preparation for the early opening, the Town of Snowmass Village is prepared for an influx of skiers and snowboarders eager to get around Town and onto the mountain. Details are as follows:
Free Transportation via the Village Shuttle
The Town is ramping up Park n' Ride service from Town Park Station to the Snowmass Ski Area starting Saturday, November 23. Route 4 runs from Town Park Station starting at 6:40 a.m., departing every 10 minutes until 5:20 p.m. After 5:20 p.m. the Village Shuttle departs from the Village Mall every 20 minutes.
The Village Shuttle will also start servicing fixed routes 1 and 8, and extending hours on route 3. Download the full schedule to see what changes are in effect November 23-28 to help you get around Town.
Free Parking
Free skier parking will be available in the numbered lots along Carriage Way. Time-restricted parking will be enforced in upper lot 5 and lot 6. Merchant permit restrictions will be enforced in lot 7. Deeply discounted parking will be available at the Base Village garage. November 23-December 1, parking at Base Village is free for the first hour, then $5/hour up to a daily maximum of $10/day.

Guest services located at Town Park Station will open November 23 from 8 a.m. - 3 p.m. Call 970-922-2233 for more information.
