Pitkin County's application for 5 Star Certification was submitted to the state on January 22, and we anticipate receiving a response this week. The Snowmass Village Town Council wrote a letter in support of the application on January 19th.
Applications for businesses will open on Thursday, January 28th. Currently, Pitkin County is implementing a 5 Star certification process for restaurants, gyms/fitness centers, and personal services only, as they had the most restrictive capacity limits in Level Red. Bars that operate like restaurants are also eligible. Pitkin County will initially only implement 5 Star Certification applications from restaurants to ensure a successful rollout of the program while still accepting applications from other sectors.
