WE-Cycle stations connecting Club Commons to RFTA at Town Park start the week of May 3rd!
After a successful trial last summer, WE-cycle is back with bikeshare stations connecting Club Commons residential area to the RFTA bus stop at Town Park Station. With a simple download of the Free Transit App, you will have access to WE-cycles, making a fast connection between Club Commons and the RFTA Bus stop. Starting the week of May 3rd, WE-cycle will roll out a network of 250+ bikes and 49 stations with 490 docks in Aspen, Basalt, and Snowmass Village. New this year is an expanded e-bike pilot, which will come online by early June, and an extension of FREE 30-minute rides on their entire fleet (previously e-bike rides were free for only the first 20 minutes).
WE-cycle encourages Snowmass Village residents to sign up and become familiar with the flexibility, and independence of bikeshare by taking a short ride from Town Park to Club Commons or go car-free in Aspen and Basalt by hopping on a WE-cycle to do errands and get around town.
WE-cycle’s Unlimited 30-min Ride Passes are available for free at www.we-cycle.org and/or by downloading the app Transit. There is no cost to sign up or ride. A credit card authorization is required for overtime fees or incidentals. Overtime fees apply for each additional minute beyond 30 minutes: silver pedal bikes: $.50/min | blue e-bikes $5.00/min.
