Snowmass, Colo.--Today, the Snowmass Village Recreation Center launched ‘Friends with Benefits,’ a package of incentives for the Winter 2012/2013 season.
Through January 1, 2013, the Recreation Center is offering the following incentives for existing and new members:
• Bring a Friend for $5.00: Members can have a friend join them for a class or workout for just $5.00 until January 1. Please inform front-desk staff on your participation during check-in.
• Refer a Friend Pass: Current members who refer three friends to sign up for a monthly membership, punch pass, or full class or league before January 1 can receive their choice of a free month extension to their membership, or free registration to a class of their choice. Please inform front-desk staff on your participation during check-in.
These incentives result from a community survey issued in August. Results revealed that 66 percent of respondents have yet to experience many of the Recreation Center’s fitness classes, amenities, leagues, or camps.
“Our members are our biggest asset, so by incentivizing them to reach out to friends and guests, we hope that we can introduce more people to our great facility and programs, and encourage current members to explore a side of the Recreation Center that they may not have seen,” said Andy Worline, director for the Town of Snowmass Village’s Parks and Recreation Department. “We want to show residents and visitors alike that there is no better place to get fit, connect with the community, and try something new year-round.”
This winter, the Recreation Center offers great fitness and recreation opportunities beyond the mountain, including heated saltwater pools, yoga, spinning, TRX, and cardio kickboxing classes, and futsal, basketball, and volleyball leagues.
