Snowmass Village, Colo. – July 28, 2015 – The Town of Snowmass Village begins their annual street improvement project August 3rd, and it is tentatively scheduled to be completed by August 14th. This year, the Town will be repaving eight different streets throughout the Village, and drivers should expect slight delays and temporary lane closures during the following dates and locations:
1) Two Creeks Drive: August 3 - 4
2) Harleston Green: August 5
3) Martingale Lane and Place: August 6
4) Deer Ridge Lane: August 7
5) Burlingame Lane: August 10
6) Village Run Circle: August 10
7) Creek Lane: August 11
8) Wood Road: August 12 - 13
This annual project improves Town streets that are due for maintenance and places a 1 ½ inch overlay of new asphalt on the surface of each street. Minor delays will occur during this maintenance as traffic control personnel direct vehicles through one way lanes. Crews will work hard to keep traffic moving by only closing one lane at a time, and they ask that drivers please be patient and drive safe.
During this same time period, Snowmass Water and Sanitation District will be replacing a water line under Hidden Lane. Because of the scale of this project and narrow dimensions of Hidden Lane, this street will be completely closed to traffic Monday – Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. beginning
August 10th through September 11th.
The District is asking that residents of Hidden Lane park their vehicles on Wood Road throughout the day. Parking on Hidden Lane or in driveways will make it difficult or impossible for these vehicles to leave after construction begins.
