Snowmass Village, Colo. – October 27, 2015 –
Residents and guests traveling down Wood Road will want to be on the lookout for a new stop sign.
The Town of Snowmass Village will be installing a new stop sign at the intersection of Wood Road and Carriage Way the week of November 2nd. This will convert the intersection into a two-way stop.
The change is being made to improve traffic flow and safety at the intersection, which is an interim solution for the Base Village development. The intersection will be monitored and reviewed throughout the year.
There will be no changes for traffic traveling up Wood Road.
The Town will be installing the stop sign, stop line, two-way intersection signs, “stop ahead” signs, and orange flags at the intersection later this week, and ask that motorists drive safely and respect all traffic laws.
