The Snowmass Village Police Department has hired Megan Boucher to be the department’s Records Specialist and Office Manager – a role that includes many day-to-day activities that keep the department operating smoothly, while also managing the department’s intricate records.
Megan most recently worked in the 9th Judicial District Attorney’s Office in Aspen as an Office Manager and Legal Assistant, and she is no stranger to the Valley. She originally moved here nearly 20 years ago with her family of three children – all of which are former or current students of Aspen schools.
When asked what was most exciting about working for Snowmass Village, Megan emphasized the strong sense of community. “Snowmass Village has a real sense of community. I am very excited to join the police department team and the Town of Snowmass Village family.”
Megan is originally from Washington D.C., and an alumni of Colby College in Maine. She also holds a master’s degree in Museum Studies from George Washington University.
Not everyone enjoys paying a visit to the Police Department, but the next time you do, you can count on a friendly face waiting to greet you. Stop by and meet Megan for yourself at Town Hall.
