The Wood Bridge connecting Melton Ranch Trail and Brush Creek Trail will be closed for repairs through November 30th.
The bridge is located over Brush Creek Road, between Kearns and Faraway Roads. The Road and vehicle traffic is not expected to be impacted by the project.
October 29, 2018 Project Update:
Repairs to the Woodbridge are underway, and the project is progressing as scheduled. Beginning next week (Nov. 5th), you can expect to see an increase in construction activity and progress as construction crews will begin erecting scaffolding around the bridge. The scaffolding structure will be put in place to support the bridge while key components are removed and replaced.
No major impacts or delays to the roadways are anticipated, but some brief closures may be necessary as construction crews unload and assemble the scaffolding material.
The bridge will be closed to pedestrian and bike traffic for the duration of the project. The safest detour route is the Melton Ranch trail to the Brush Creek Roundabout, as depicted in the project map below. The repairs are anticipated to be completed by the end of November, and the bridge will be re-opened as soon as possible. Thank you for your patience, and please reach out to the contact below should you have any concerns or questions.
Overall, the project is on schedule to be complete by December 7th.
