The Town of Snowmass Village is now reviewing the Preliminary PUD Application for the proposed development of the Snowmass Center. A joint meeting has been scheduled for the Planning Commission and Town Council to begin their review with a presentation from the applicant on Tuesday, February 19th. After this initial presentation, the Planning Commission will begin their review of the application through a series of public meetings. They will forward their recommendations on to the Town Council, who will also have a review process with a series of meetings that are open to the public.

What is the Preliminary PUD Application?
A PUD (Planned Unit Development) is a definition within the Town's Land Use Code, and it is a process required for development within certain zone districts. The Preliminary phase is step 2 in the process, but it is where a bulk of the details are negotiated and determined.
