Help the USPS Help You

Always Include Your P.O. Box Number

Improperly addressed mail that does not include a P.O. Box for the intended recipient has caused a significant backup in the mail room. It is crucial that you include your P.O. Box in your shipping address - every time. Even if you think UPS or FedEx will be delivering your parcels, the USPS might end up with it.

Proper Address for Recipient Mail or Package:

John Doe
123 Brush Creek Rd.
P.O. Box 5555
Snowmass Village, 81615

Come and Get It!

Once your mail or packages are delivered to the post office, the USPS asks that you please pick it up as quick as possible. Not doing so requires the USPS to store packages, and this takes up precious space in the mail room that could be used more efficiently.

Thank You For Your Patience

Most importantly, thank you for your patience. There is a much higher volume of packages being delivered to Snowmass Village lately, and the queue of people waiting to pick up their packages can be long. If you receive a package slip in your PO Box and have flexibility in your schedule, the USPS recommends picking it up early in the morning when the post office is less busy. Wait times are longer in the early afternoon, so timing your visit can big a huge help and cut down your wait time.
