National Disabled Veterans ReturnVolunteer or Donate to the Winter Sports Clinic
The 2020 National Disabled Veterans Winter Sports Clinic returns to Snowmass Village on March 28th. Help bring as many veterans to Snowmass Village as possible and show them to a world class experience by volunteering for the event or by sponsoring a veteran.
Volunteer: The Westin is in need of volunteers to assist with food service. This is a great way for you, your team, or your organization to give back to the Veterans that have given so much to our country.
We are looking for volunteers for the following days and shifts. - Breakfast - Monday, March 30, 2020 through Friday, April 3, 2020 – 5:30am to 9:00am
- Lunch – Monday, Monday 30, 2020 through Thursday, April 2, 2020 – 10:45am to 1:30pm
- Dinner – Tuesday, March 31, 2020 through Thursday, April 2, 2020 – 4:00pm to 6:30pm

Donate:All attendees must raise their own money for lodging and airfare, estimated at $1,800 per individual. We ask you to please help sponsor one or more of these recently disabled young vets in whole or in part. Any size donation makes a difference.

A special account has been set up at Alpine Bank in Snowmass. All donations are tax deductible, and the Department of Veterans Affairs will supply a tax number upon receipt of your contribution. Donations may be mailed to or dropped off at:

2020 Presidential PrimaryParticipate in One Primary Election by March 3rd Ballots for the 2020 Presidential Primary Elections were mailed to all active registered voters on February 10th. Return your completed and signed primary election ballot at the ballot drop off box in front of Town Hall anytime before Tuesday at 7:00 p.m.
If you are an unaffiliated voter, you most likely received two ballots. However, you may only complete and participate in one primary. Do not return more than one ballot

Apres with your Town CouncilAt The Collective in Base Village - Friday, April 3rd The Town Council set a strategic goal to increase opportunities to listen to you, the community. We can't think of a better way to get together than an Apres Ski Party.
On Friday, April 3rd, members of the Snowmass Village Town Council will be hosting the Apres Ski party at the Collective in Base Village. Join us for free snacks, live music, and conversation beginning at 5 p.m. The Town Council will be available and ready to engage, answer questions, and receive input until 6 p.m., but the party doesn't stop there.
The live music by Harding, Hills, and Hawes will go until 8 p.m. See you there.

The Census is as important as your vote, and we need 100% of the community to participate. Also, responding early online will save Census workers and volunteers a trip to your household in April.

Transit Station Design ContinuesOption 5 to be Presented on March 2nd The Town Council will be receiving a presentation of the newly crafted "option 5" conceptual design for the proposed mall transit station on Monday.

Annual Weight Restrictions BeginHeavy Loads and Equipment Restricted Beginning March 15, heavy equipment and loads in Snowmass Village greater than 40,000 pounds are restricted on Town roads. These annual weight restrictions are in place through June 15 (weather permitting), and help protect road bases when they are soft from spring melt and runoff conditions. Exemptions can be granted on a case-by-case basis.
