Camaraderie on the Village Shuttle TOSV Employee Jamie Tannenbaum Local SpotlightShuttle driver Jamie Tannenbaum was featured in the April 28 edition of the Snowmass Sun. Read the full article at aspentimes.com.
Take a deep breath next time you board the Snowmass Village Shuttle: If it smells like peppermint, odds are Jaime Tannenbaum is the one behind the wheel.
The Snowmass local adds the minty spritz as a personal touch after the bus — like all vehicles in the Village Shuttle fleet — is sanitized and disinfected to meet COVID-19 protocols.
“We strive in customer service here and go over and above and beyond for it,” Tannenbaum said in a Snowmass Sun interview at the transportation department offices this weekend.
This year marks Tannenbaum’s sixth in the transit business: she started as a full-time seasonal driver with the Village Shuttle in 2015 and went year-round in 2019. She logged Snowmass Village local status when she made the move from Glenwood Springs to the town three years ago.

Get VaccinatedAll Adults Eligible to Receive COVID-19 VaccineOn April 27th, Governor Jared Polis and staff provided an update on the COVID-19 pandemic and demonstrated the strong correlation between locations in Colorado with higher vaccination rates and lower hospitalization rates.
“We want to be in your community and we want to make sure it’s convenient to get the vaccine,” said Governor Polis. “Our data and research show that the vast majority of Coloradans want the vaccine and now it’s about making sure that people make a concrete plan to get it this week or next. Whether it’s visiting one of our community vaccination sites, a clinic in your neighborhood, or visiting our mobile bus clinic, it has never been easier to get the free, safe, and amazingly effective vaccine.” Nearly a third of eligible Coloradans (1,695,972) have been fully vaccinated at this point and more than half have received their first dose (2,505,053), with more providers and appointments coming online every day.
