Road Construction Sigh

Road Construction Season around the corner

There will be several significant road projects affecting Village residents this upcoming Spring. Plan your trips to and from Aspen accordingly. Overlaying of Brush Creek Road from Hwy 82 to Snowmass entrance takes place between April 1st and June 15th. Brush Creek Road will remain open throughout this project. Aspen roundabout shoulder work construction begins in March, and the conversion from asphalt to concrete hopes to be completed by the end of June. Other CDOT projects include work on the Castle Creek Bridge in September and milling/paving on Hwy 82 from AABC to the roundabout.

Labrador Lane is for the Dogs

Cross Country Trail Dedicated to Dog Walkers

The Nordic trails in and around Snowmass Village are some of the best, but they aren't only for skiers. "Labrador Lane" is the one XC trail that is open to furry companions - walking or skiing. Just don't forget the leash and pick up and pack out dog waste.

You can find trail maps and more details online at www.aspennordic.com
