Road Overlay Project: June 2nd - 8th

Weather permitting, contractors will begin paving several Town streets tomorrow and be complete by Wednesday of next week. The project includes a fresh coat of pavement on the following streets:

Snowmass Club Circle
St. Andrews Place
A portion of Horse Ranch Drive (Branding Lane to Bridle Path)

Paving these streets will require the roads to be temporarily reduced to one-lane of traffic and minor delays should be expected. Thank you for your patience during this process, and please feel free to contact us if you have any questions.

Village Shuttle Summer Schedules Begin Friday, June 3rd

The Village Shuttle will begin operating on its summer service schedule Friday, June 3rd. Be sure to visit our route maps and schedules page for information on departure times from various locations throughout the Village.

Make riding the Village Shuttle a part of your summer plans. As always, it's free of charge.

Ragnar Kicks Off Summer Events

The Ragnar Trail Relays will hit the trail in Snowmass Village Friday, June 3rd - Saturday, June 4th.

Approximately 2000 participants will be completing the 120+ mile course, which involves loops on three local trails: Highline/Lowline, North Mesa, and North Rim. Participants will also run along some nearby streets. A complete race route map is available by following the link below.

While none of the trails will be closed to hikers during the race, the following trails will be closed to mountain bikes and horses for the duration of the event:

Rim Trail North, from Sinclair Road to Horse Ranch Drive.
North Mesa Equestrian Trail
Highline / Lowline on Sky Mountain

Hikers are welcome to walk the course and cheer on participants, but it is advised to choose alternative trails during the competition if you're simply looking for a casual hike.
