Roundabout Project Reaches Phase 3

The construction team has successfully completed the majority of phase 1 and 2 road work ahead of schedule, and the roundabout is now open. Upper Kearns Road is now open to normal traffic as well. 

Phase 3, which began earlier this week, focuses on upper Brush Creek Road - above the roundabout intersection. A small stretch of Brush Creek Road is closed for this phase, which is expected to last approximately 4 weeks. A detour will be in place via Carriage Way.

During this time, RFTA will be unable to access bus stops located in the upper portions of the Village. The Village Shuttle, however, will be augmenting RFTA services to connect riders to regional routes. Learn more and subscribe to project information by following the link below.

Big Mountain Enduro World Series Comes to Snowmass Village

July 28th - July 31st 
Big Mountain Enduro will be hosting the only U.S. stop of the BME World Series right here in our backyard. This highly anticipated event is designed to give bikers a unique riding experience, including high altitude trails and big descents, to test their all-around biking abilities.

The 2016 race course includes several trails within the Snowmass Mountain Bike Park, in addition to local Town trails. For safety reasons, these trails will be closed to the public during the event.
