Town Clean Up Day is TOMORROW

Snowmass Village will be hosting Town Clean Up Day on Friday, June 2nd, and it will mark the 37th annual clean up. Join us and help keep our community beautiful.

The Lowdown:

9:00 a.m. - Meet at the Bus Depot on Daly Lane below the Snowmass Village Mall to check in and receive area assignments. We will have canvas gloves, tickets for lunch, raffle tickets, bags, and other items ready to go. 

If you can't work all morning, don't worry. You can come, go, and help as your schedule allows.

Tips:

Wear clothes you don’t mind getting dirty. Wear comfortable walking shoes. Rally your family, friends and co-workers. Be prepared for changing weather conditions.

Lunch:

Noon - meet at the Mountain Bayou in the Snowmass Center for Lunch, a raffle, and other goodies. 

Electric Vehicle Ride & Drive EVent:
The Town of Snowmass Village has teamed up with Garfield Clean Energy and other communities to offer dealer discounts on a variety of electric vehicles. You can view and test drive a Nissan Leaf at Town Clean Up Day and learn how to take advantage of discounts up to $8,000 + tax credits of up to $7,500. Offers end June 30th.

Sky Mtn. & Rim Trails are OPEN!

Respect Wildlife. Respect Trail Closures.

On May 16th, the Sky Mountain Park and North Mesa area trails re-opened for the season. Enjoy.

The Burnt Mountain area remains closed to protect sensitive elk calving habitat until June 21st. Find the details below:

• Sequel
• East Government Trail

Trail closures are strictly enforced by the Town's Animal Services Division, in partnership with Colorado Parks & Wildlife, and there is a zero tolerance policy for trail closure violations. Fines can reach up to $5,000. Wildlife monitoring cameras are in use in closed areas. Thank you for your understanding and respect of wildlife.

2017 Road Overlay Projects 

Paving projects begin June 12th 

The Town's annual road overlay program will primarily consist of three roads this year, all near the Horse Ranch area. If you live in this area, please expect slight delays and have patience with our construction crews.

All road overlay projects are expected to be completed by June 16th.
