DAV Winter Sports Clinic Fundraiser

Help Bring More Disabled Veteran's to Snowmass

Hello Friends and Neighbors,

We’re looking forward to hosting the National Disabled Veterans Winter Sports Clinic for the 18th straight year, which we couldn’t do without the support of our local community. Not only do our merchants, lodges, and restaurants show these veterans to a world-class experience, but together, we raised over $21,000 in 2018 to support lodging and airfare for individual veterans. This year, we're again asking you for your support to bring as many veterans as possible to Snowmass Village, March 31, 2019 – April 7, 2019.

All attendees must raise their own money for lodging and airfare, estimated at $1,600 per individual. We ask you to please help sponsor one or more of these recently disabled young vets in whole or in part. Any size donation makes a difference, and you can donate in person or by mail at Alpine Bank...

Govern Hard, Aprés Harder

Aprés Ski Party on Mar. 14th at the Collective

Town Council will be serving treats and available to discuss the issues that matter most to you. From 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. enjoy live music, free food, non-alcoholic drinks, and a cash bar.

This event was scheduled by the Town Council in an effort to increase engagement opportunities with the community. Increasing community engagement was adopted as one the Town Council's top strategic goals, and it is their second such event. The Town Council also hosted "Get the Scoop" last summer as an ice cream social during a free concert on Fanny Hill, and it was a huge success that we hope to replicate during winter season. We look forward to seeing you there to aprés ski with Town Council!

Snowmass Center Review Begins

Preliminary PUD Application Deemed Complete

The Town of Snowmass Village is now reviewing the Preliminary PUD Application for the proposed development of the Snowmass Center. A joint meeting was held with the Planning Commission and Town Council to begin their review on Tuesday, February 19th. The Planning Commission will now begin their review of the application through a series of public meetings. The first is scheduled to take place Wednesday, March 6th.

Once their review concludes, they will forward their recommendations on to the Town Council, who will also have a review process with a series of meetings that are open to the public.

What is the Preliminary PUD Application?
A PUD (Planned Unit Development) is a definition within the Town's Land Use Code, and it is a process required for development within certain zone districts. The Preliminary phase is step 2 in the process, but it is where a bulk of the details are negotiated and determined.

Step 1 - Sketch Plan
Step 2 - Preliminary Plan
Step 3 - Final Plan
