Town Clean Up Day

Thank You Clean Up Day Volunteers

Over 100 Volunteers Participated in 39th Clean Up

Thank you to the over 100 community members who showed up to clean our roadways, parking lots, trails and more. Despite the scary weather, it was another successful display of the community's volunteer spirit to keep the Town beautiful. The event also wouldn't be possible without the local businesses that support it every year. Thank you to all of the generous sponsors and donors:

June Events in Snowmass

Bikes, Beer, Beef, and More!

June kicks off summer in Snowmass, featuring two new events, Ride the Rockies (June 11-12) and Mini Meet (June 24-28), as well as showcasing returning favorites such as the Snowmass Rendezvous Craft Beer Festival and new beer tasting dinners, Cochon 555’s Rustic Grind & Heritage Fire, Snowmass Demo Days, the Snowmass Rodeo, Snowmass Free Concert Series, and much more.

“June is a fantastic time to be in Snowmass,” says Rose Abello, Tourism Director. “The mountains are lush and green, while the snowcapped mountains provide a stunning backdrop. We look forward to kicking this summer off strong with Ragnar Trail and the Snowmass Rendezvous Craft Beer Festival, both back again this summer for their seventh and fourth years, respectively. We are also thrilled to welcome first time events Ride the Rockies and Mini Meet to our spectacular valley.”

Select Trails Remain Closed

Burnt Mountain Area Closed Until June 21st

As things heat up this summer, please keep in mind several local trail closures remain in place until June 21st in the Burnt Mountain Area:

  • Anaerobic Nightmare Trail: April 25 - June 21
  • Sequel Trail: April 25 - June 21
  • Tom Blake Trail: April 25 - June 21
  • Government Trail east of Elk Camp Work Road: May 15 - June 21
These trails are located in critical elk calving habitat, and recent studies have shown our elk calf mortality rates to be at concerning ratios. Please give them a break, and respect trail closures. Violating a trail closure can result in significant fines, up to $5,000.
