Can I park my car on the shoulder of the road?
At least 10 unobstructed feet on either side of the pavement are necessary for snow storage. Any vehicle parked on the shoulder is an impediment to snow removal and a traffic hazard; they will be towed. If your vehicle should become disabled or you are unable to continue driving due to adverse conditions, park as far off the road as possible, activate your emergency flashers, and contact the Snowmass Village Police Department immediately at 970-923-5330.
