Pre-Submittal Meetings:
Pre-submittal meetings are strongly recommended for anyone planning a major building project. These meetings provide an opportunity to discuss the details of your proposed project with the Community Development permit coordinator, building plans reviewers, and other review staff before formally submitting your application.
During the meeting, you can outline your project scope, ask questions about applicable codes and requirements, and identify any potential issues early in the process. This collaborative approach helps streamline the review process, reduce delays, and ensure your application is complete and accurate when submitted.
Submitting Applications and Permits
Permit submission requirements are detailed in specific permit applications. If you have any questions on requirements, please contact the Community Development Department at 970-923-5524 between 7:30 a.m. – 4:00 p.m., Monday – Friday. Building, mechanical, electrical, and plumbing permit applications must be completed online. In-person applications are not accepted.
