Online Permit Application Portal
We are in the process of implementing the new Meritage system - Community Core. You should have received an email notification from Community Core to update your login information on April 9, 2019. If you have not received the email, or did not update your account, please contact us for assistance.
All active permits and applications have been migrated over, and none of your work or application review process has been lost.
Note: Please update any bookmarked tabs that you may have to the old system, and do not attempt to use Contractor Connect.

Note: You must use Google Chrome as your internet browser to apply, manage, and pay for permits online.
Community Connect is designed to make the process of applying, reviewing, obtaining a permit, scheduling and receiving inspections in Snowmass Village easier than ever.

If you are not licensed with the Town of Snowmass Village Building Department as a contractor, please contact Sara Nester for the appropriate applications.
If you are already a licensed contractor with the Town of Snowmass Village building department and have never accessed our online system before, you will need to contact us to create an account for you. Please email us with the information below:
- Company Name (if applicable)
- First and Last Name
- Contact Phone Number
- Email Address
We will then create a personalized login and send you an email with instructions on how to finish creating your account.
Once you have created an account and logged in, you can accomplish the following steps right from the comfort of your computer or device:
- Apply for permits (New building, re-roof, change orders, demolition, electrical, elevator, fire, foundation, mechanical, and plumbing permits are currently available online.)
- Submit plans electronically
- Schedule inspections
- View the status of all projects
- Pay for permits and fees
