Budget Development
Every year Town Council, the Town Manager, and Town staff work together to develop an annual budget. The annual budget is the highest expression of the Town Council’s priorities and decision-making; it expresses the initiatives, investments, and services provided by and through elected officials and staff.
The budget serves as a guiding document for how money that comes into the Town should be spent to provide and improve services within the Town while aligning with the Town Council’s priorities. The Town of Snowmass Village fiscal year is from January 1 – December 31 annually. The Town’s annual budget finances core municipal services that meet the needs of the community with the resources available.
