Join us on Thursday, August 15 for a free concert and two exciting opportunities: “Get the Scoop” with members of the Snowmass Village Town Council and the third annual community photo.

Your Town Council Invites you to Come "Get the Scoop"
Starting at 5:30 p.m., the Snowmass Village Town Council will be hosting “Get the Scoop.” Members of the Town Council will give away free ice cream and will be available to meet and discuss any topic of interest. Community members are invited to come and connect with the Council, ask them questions, and provide direct feedback, while enjoying free ice cream.

3rd Annual Community Photo

During intermission of the Free Concert, at approximately 7:30 p.m., Snowmass Tourism invites community members to gather on Fanny Hill for the third annual community photo. Participation is encouraged, rain or shine.

Bag of Weed Contest Returns

Collect Noxious Weeds and Win July 30 - Sept. 13

The Town's noxious weed eradication program is in full force this summer, and we have even been experimenting with a new vinegar-based "steam" treatment program to avoid the use of chemicals - but we still need your help. Now through September 13th, help us remove noxious weeds from our ecosystem, and you could WIN!

Bag of Weed Contest:

Stop by our office to pick up trash bags, 2835 Brush Creek Rd
Do your homework to identify the weeds before pulling.
Learn proper methods to (safely) remove the weed.
Bring your bags back for official counting
Pull the most weeds and you will receive a free 1-year Recreation Center Membership ($660 value).

Spartan Race Comes to Snowmass

Approximately 7,000 Spartans will be arriving in the Village this weekend for the first ever Spartan Race in Snowmass Village. Sleigh Ride Trail Closure

Trail Closure Expected August 5th

The Aspen Skiing Company will begin a project to expand snow-making capacity on Snowmass Mountain on August 5th. The project is expected to take approximately 60 days to complete.
